1. Platform Role

TradeUp is a marketplace that allows users to post listings and communicate with other users. TradeUp does not buy, sell, verify, inspect, or guarantee any item, service, or transaction listed on the platform.

2. User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for:

• the accuracy of the information they provide
• any messages, transactions, exchanges, or interactions they engage in

TradeUp is not responsible for the outcome of any transaction or interaction between users.

3. Prohibited Content

You may not post, request, offer, or promote:

• illegal items or services
• counterfeit goods
• stolen property
• fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading listings
• anything that violates applicable law

TradeUp reserves the right to remove content or restrict access to the platform at its discretion.

4. Safety

Users are responsible for their own safety when interacting with others. TradeUp encourages users to meet in public places, verify details before meeting, and use reasonable caution.

5. Moderation

TradeUp may remove listings, messages, or accounts at any time if content appears to violate these terms, applicable law, or the safety of the platform.

6. No Guarantees

TradeUp makes no guarantees about:

• the quality, safety, legality, authenticity, or availability of listings
• the truthfulness of user content
• the reliability of any user
• the success of any transaction

All use of the platform is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TradeUp is not liable for user content, user conduct, transactions between users, or any damages arising from use of the platform.

8. Cooperation

TradeUp may cooperate with law enforcement or relevant institutions when required by law.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of TradeUp after changes means you accept the updated terms.
